Sarah is a Partner in our Planning and Environment practice with nearly 25 years’ experience in development, strategic planning, environment and infrastructure and advises government stakeholders, developers and infrastructure proponents across all aspects of planning and environment law.
Sarah provides front-end advisory services, including strategic planning advice and due diligence, drafting planning instruments, and advice in relation to all aspects of the Planning Act 2016, through to representing stakeholders in planning and environment litigation and drafting and negotiating infrastructure agreements.
As a complement to her planning practice, Sarah has also developed significant experience advising across environment and heritage issues. In this space, Sarah advises participants, both private sector and government authorities, across the spectrum of issues arising under the Environmental Protection Act 1994 (and companion environmental legislation), including particularly in relation to environmental compliance, prosecution and contaminated land. She has a particular interest in the complex environmental offsets framework and has been involved in policy in this area for many years.
