HopgoodGanim Lawyers are pleased to have acted as Australian counsel on the acquisition of Shelf Subsea by leading ocean services provider DeepOcean.

HopgoodGanim Lawyers were engaged by Stephenson Harwood LLP, to assist their client DeepOcean with the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Shelf Subsea. Shelf Subsea is an independent provider of subsea and offshore projects operating in the APAC region, marking a significant step in DeepOcean’s international growth strategy and supporting their expansion into Southeast Asia, Australia and the Middle East.

The HopgoodGanim team was led by Partner Robyn Ferguson and supported by Senior Associates Tom McCourt and Lily Robinson, from our Corporate and M&A team.

The Corporate and M&A team was supported by Employment and Workplace Partner Andrew Tobin and Special Counsel Damon King, Property Partner Ryan Chorley and Solicitor Alexia Larcher.

HopgoodGanim Lawyers worked closely with DeepOcean’s UK and Norwegian counsel in this multijurisdictional deal.
