Blake is a Partner in our Disputes practice.
Blake has a broad practice of dispute resolution and commercial litigation, with a particular focus on the building and construction industry. He acts in a wide range of disputes relating to construction projects, including traditional construction disputes, property and finance disputes, and he also assists clients in respect of work health and safety matters when they arise.
His clients include both principals and contractors, working across the Government; Energy, Renewables and Mining and Real Estate and Development sectors. The broad nature of Blake’s practice ensures that he is equipped to handle all matters that arise for each of his clients, and he has a particular interest in ensuring that all disputes are resolved promptly and commercially, with a tailored strategy that best suits the individual needs of each matter.
Blake regularly represents clients in the Supreme Courts of Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia, as well as representing clients in international and domestic arbitration, and adjudications under the various security of payment regimes throughout Australia.
