Martin has advised on some of Australia’s most significant mining and public infrastructure projects for both public and private sector organisations.
Martin is a strategic and big picture thinker and his clients value the whole of project expertise he offers. His lengthy career has seen him advise on the development of legislation, negotiate with governments and regulatory bodies, and in many cases, break new ground in his work on many ‘first-of-its-kind’ projects or agreements. He is a skilled negotiator and a very accomplished legal adviser.
Martin is a former President of Australia’s Resources and Energy Law Association (AMPLA), a chair of the Queensland Law Society Mining and Resources Committee, and a member for the Queensland advisory board for AMEC (Association for Mining Exploration Companies).
