Krystal Bellamy
Senior Associate

Krystal is a Senior Associate in our Estates and Succession team. 

/ Experience

Krystal advises clients in relation to all aspects of wills, powers of attorney, deceased estates, trusts and superannuation disputes, specialising mainly in estate and trust administration and litigation. 

Her experience includes administering complex estates and trusts as well as acting for executors, trustees, beneficiaries, attorneys, applicants for further provision and other aggrieved or interested parties in non-litigious disputes or in proceedings before the Supreme Court of Queensland, District Court of Queensland and/or the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal. Krystal’s experience in litigation includes dealing with contentious probate proceedings, family provision applications, mutual will disputes, statutory will applications, applications for judicial direction, applications to remove executors and trustees and claims for equitable relief. 

Krystal holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Accountancy) from the Queensland University of Technology. Krystal also holds a Master of Laws (Applied Law) majoring in Wills and Estates from The College of Law Australia and was the recipient of the Best Graduating Masters Student Prize in Wills and Estates in November 2023. She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, a global association of professionals specialising in estates and trusts and a Graduate Fellow of The College of Law Australia.

Most recently, Krystal has been recognised by Doyle’s Guide as a Recommended practitioner in both the Leading Wills & Estates Litigation Lawyer rankings for Queensland, 2019–2023 and the Leading Wills, Estates & Succession Planning Lawyer rankings for Queensland, 2022-2023. She was also named as one of Australia’s rising stars in Wills, Estates and Succession Planning, 2017-2018 (Doyle's Guide).
