Exceptional outcomes

CSA Global / We advised CSA Global on its acquisition by the world’s leading sustainability consultancy, ERM. The announcement, made on 3 July 2019, of CSA Global’s acquisition will further position ERM as a world leading advisor to the mining industry.
Pantoro Limited / We advised Pantoro Limited in relation to their  joint venture and farm-in agreement with Norseman Gold Plc regarding the acquisition of 50% of the Central Norseman Gold Project, which was completed on 10 July, and related $43 million placement.
City Fertility Centre / Advised City Fertility Centre on the sale of a 65% stake if its business to CHA Healthcare and Singapore Medical Group. We have advised City Fertility Centre for over 10 years, helping the business to grow from one owned by a handful of doctors to one that now has 18 shareholders who are actively involved in the business, as well as two major international healthcare partners.
Brisbane Markets Limited / We advised Brisbane Markets Limited on the successful defence of a hostile takeover bid by Produce Markets Queensland Pty Ltd. The takeover involved the iconic Queensland infrastructure asset of the Central Fruit & Vegetable Markets at Rocklea and the outcome we achieved in this matter allowed the Queensland fruit and vegetable industry based company to retain ownership of this significant asset which is critical to the ongoing operations of the markets.
Red 5 Limited / We advised Red 5 Limited on the simultaneous acquisitions of the Darlot gold mine from Gold Fields Limited and the King of the Hills gold project from Saracen Mineral Holdings Limited.  We also advised on the related partially underwritten AU$12.7M rights issue. 
De.mem / We advised Singapore-based water treatment company De.mem (ASX: DEM) on the acquisition of Queensland-headquartered Akwa-Worx. De.mem designs, builds, owns and operates de-centralised, customisable and high-quality waste water treatment systems for its clients.
Imdex Limited / HopgoodGanim advised long-term client, Imdex Limited, on their agreement to acquire New Zealand based companies, Flexidrill Limited and Flexidrill Construction Limited (together Flexidrill). Flexidrill is the owner of two unique patented technologies for drilling - CoreVIBE and MagHAMMER. 
ImmersaView sale to Plexsys / Our team of corporate and technology lawyers advised the owners of ImmersaView, an Australian company focused on advanced display and video/audio data after action review (VADAAR) software technologies, on the sale of the company to Plexsys, a US-headquartered company that focuses on live virtual constructive (LVC) environment generation, datalink and communication technologies.
Michael Hill International Ltd / We advised MHI International Limited (Michael Hill Jeweller) on it’s A$400m restructure and redomicile from New Zealand to Australia, including the transition from a primary listing on the NZX to a primary listing on the ASX (with a dual listing on the NZX). 
Retirement village M&A / We advised one of Australia’s largest retirement village operators on the acquisition of 14 retirement villages across Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia, valued in excess of $330 million including the Glen Group in New South Wales and the Manor Group in Queensland.   We've also assisted in relation to restructuring a number of villages where shares were originally held by residents, advising on most effective way to streamline and simplify the ownership structure of those villages.
