HopgoodGanim Lawyers has appointed highly respected estates and succession specialist Paige Edwards as Partner to head its Estates and Succession practice in Brisbane.
Commencing today, Paige’s appointment reinforces the firm’s commitment to its dedicated Private Client offering, enhancing its ability to provide high quality estate planning, administration, and succession dispute services across the country.
A Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in Succession Law, Paige has over a decade of experience in complex estate matters, including estate planning, administration, and litigation. She also has specialised knowledge in family trusts and superannuation, advising clients on effective wealth protection and succession strategies, with experience across both boutique and full-service firms.
In her new role, Paige will lead HopgoodGanim’s Estates and Succession team in Brisbane.
“Paige’s deep technical expertise and practical approach make her an ideal fit for HopgoodGanim and our clients,” said Luke Mountford, Managing Partner at HopgoodGanim Lawyers. “Her strong track record advising clients on complex estate matters aligns seamlessly with the values and direction of our Estate and Succession practice and wider Private Client sector strategy.”
Paige will also be working closely with the leaders of HopgoodGanim’s Private Client sector team, Tim Scanlan and Geoff Wilson.
“Our Private Client offering is truly unique in the market, delivering a full range of services tailored specifically to the needs of high-net-worth individuals and families,” said Geoff Wilson, Co-Leader of the Private Clients team.
Paige’s expertise further strengthens our ability to provide practical, high-quality advice across estate planning, administration, and succession disputes, ensuring our clients receive comprehensive support every step of the way.”
This appointment follows HopgoodGanim’s late 2024 merger with boutique family, wills, and estates firm Butlers Notaries and Lawyers in Perth, and builds on a series of senior appointments made across the firm since then.
“This marks an exciting new chapter for the Private Client team, and we look forward to welcoming Paige to the firm.” Luke concluded.
