HopgoodGanim Lawyers has advised the shareholders of Molekulis Pty Ltd on the sale of its Australian and New Zealand-based business to Redox Limited (ASX: RDX), one of the world’s leading chemical, ingredient and raw material distributors.

Molekulis is the exclusive distributor across Australia and New Zealand for several renowned global manufacturers, supplying essential products to a broad range of sectors including energy, mining, agriculture, adhesives and road construction. The acquisition strengthens Redox’s presence across the region, building on Molekulis’ 25-year reputation as the leading trusted supplier of specialty transformer oils.

HopgoodGanim’s team was led by Special Counsel Sarah Judge and Associate James Reich, who provided strategic legal advice throughout the transaction. Completion occurred on 30 April 2025. Terms of the deal remain confidential.

“We’re incredibly grateful to Sarah and the HopgoodGanim team for their guidance throughout this process. Their understanding of our drivers and strong transactional expertise were instrumental in achieving a great outcome for all involved” said Philippe Reboul, Managing Director of Molekulis.

“We were pleased to support Molekulis in achieving this successful outcome,” said Sarah Judge. “It’s a strong strategic fit and a significant milestone for both businesses.”

HopgoodGanim Lawyers worked alongside Carlo Wan, Irini Meys and Alex Stone of Lane Neave, who advised the shareholders of Molekulis Limited on the ground in New Zealand.
