HopgoodGanim Lawyers is pleased to have advised Atlantic Lithium Limited (ASX: A11, AIM: ALL, GSE: ALLGH) (Atlantic Lithium) on its entry into a binding Scheme Implementation Deed with Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co., Limited (Huayou). Under the transaction, it is proposed that Huayou will acquire Atlantic Lithium in an all‑cash transaction valuing Atlantic Lithium at approximately US$210M (AUD $292M).
The transaction is structured as an Australian Scheme of Arrangement, that is believed to be the first involving an entity listed across the ASX, AIM and the Ghana Stock Exchange. Completion of the transaction remains subject to shareholder approval, as well as other customary regulatory and court approvals.
