Joanne has twenty years of experience in advising clients on all aspects of managing aged care services and retirement villages. She provides advice on day to day operations, regulatory compliance, and incident and complaint management as well as strategic and commercial advice. Joanne leads a team that regularly advises on significant acquisitions, mergers within the not for profit sector and divestiture. She also has expertise in corporate governance, strategy development and stakeholder engagement.
Her breadth of experience in guiding providers through multiple rounds of reform and restructuring has given Joanne a deep understanding of industry trends, what drives government policy and the key elements of successful strategies for engagement with consumers.
