HopgoodGanim Lawyers would like to congratulate our client SolGold Plc (SolGold or Company) on the Company’s admission to listing of its ordinary shares on the Standard Listing segment of the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and admission to trading on the main market for listed securities of London Stock Exchange Plc (LSE).
Partner, Brian Moller and Special Counsel, Luke Dawson of HopgoodGanim Lawyers, represented SolGold in Australia with James Channo of Locke Lord (UK) LLP acting on the LSE listing from the UK. The Company moved from the AIM market to the Standard List on 6 October 2017 and commenced trading on the LSE with a market capitalisation of approximately £600 million.
HopgoodGanim Lawyers also recently represented SolGold in Australia, with James Clare of Bennett Jones LLP acting as the Company’s Canadian counsel, in respect of its Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) listing. The Company completed the listing on the TSX on 14 July 2017 with a market capitalisation in excess of CDN$1.1 billion.
SolGold is a Brisbane-based copper-gold exploration company with assets in Ecuador and Australia. The Company’s primary objective is to discover and define world‐class copper‐gold deposits. The Company’s flagship project Cascabel, SolGold's 85% owned copper‐gold porphyry project, is located in northern Ecuador on the under‐explored northern section of the richly endowed Andean Copper Belt.
