Peter advises on all aspects of corporate advisory, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings and IPOs, corporate governance, private equity and joint ventures. His expertise extends across a number of industry sectors including industrial infrastructure, telecommunications and financial services.

Peter offers a wealth of international experience, having worked in Australia, the UK, East Asia and the Middle East, both in-house and for large international law firms, as well as working within a sector-specific regulator.

Peter has received a number of awards and accolades during his career, and has been listed as a leading lawyer in international legal publications including Who’s Who Legal, the Asia Pacific Legal 500 and AsiaLaw Profiles.

  • Advising Blackwood Corporation on its $28.4 million private share placement to Mulsanne Resources. The placement was at a 50 percent premium to Blackwood's five-day weighted average price.
  • Advising a major European brand company on a shareholder dispute and advising on the removal of directors.
  • Advising a mobile cellular telecoms company on aspects of its consortia bid for a 3G licence in another Asian country.
  • Advising a US power utilities company on the statutory controls imposed on power generation joint ventures in Thailand in anticipation of a proposed acquisition.
  • Advising a global telecommunications company and its various subsidiaries on the roll-out of a variety of telecommunications services in Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, amongst other countries.
  • Advising a global telecommunications company on a joint venture with a Japanese carrier for the provision of telecoms services into and out of Japan.
  • Advising a global telecommunications company on aspects of a joint venture with, and cross shareholding in, another international telecommunications company.
  • Advising a global telecommunications company on its bid for a 25 percent stake in a South East Asian carrier.
  • Advising a global telecommunications company on regulatory issues arising out of its operations and joint ventures in Singapore, Thailand, India, Korea and Japan, including market access issues.
