Justin advises clients on a full range of legal issues associated with property law.  His practice covers the sale and acquisition of commercial property, commercial and retail leasing and property development.

Justin has broad transactional experience, having acted in the sale and purchase of various CBD office buildings, industrial properties, transport/infrastructure assets, shopping centres and future residential development property.

He has gained international experience working for leading global law firms in both the United Kingdom and Brisbane and also acting for multi-national and foreign listed clients.

Justin holds degrees in law from the Queensland University of Technology.  He is admitted as a solicitor in Queensland and also in England and Wales.

  • Acting for Devine Limited in relation to the site acquisition, development strategy and off the plan developments at DoubleOne 3, Teneriffe and Mode Apartments, Newstead.  Additional advices regarding agency appointment terms, development deeds, Foreign Investment Review Board requirements, caretaking and letting and sales office leasing.  
  • Acting in relation to the tenure structure and scheme establishment for the hotel, residential units and retail/commercial lots at Empire Apartments, Rockhampton, off the plans sales, sale of the management rights and retail leases and ancillary sales advices.
  • Acting in relation to the tenure structure and scheme establishment for the hotel, residential units and retail/commercial lots at Salt Apartments, Yeppoon, sale of the management rights and retail leases and ancillary sales advices.
  • Acting for Primewest Funds Limited in relation to the acquisition and leasing of the office buildings at 108 Wickham Street, Fortitude Valley, 99 Melbourne Street, South Brisbane, and 1 Breakfast Creek Road, Newstead, and associated office and retail leasing.
  • Acting for Primewest Funds Limited in relation to the acquisition of the Brassall Shopping Centre, Queensland, including contract negotiation and due diligence. 
  • Acting for Adco Constructions in relation to the leasing of office premises at Milton and Southport, the sale of the shipyard and sublease of ferry marina at Rivergate Marina and Shipyard, drafting documents for boat show, acting in relation to the consents to the transfer of subleases and strategic advices regarding head lease and subleases.
  • Acting for a Singapore listed hospitality and property developer in relation to acquisition and structuring associated with Brisbane and Gold Coast sites, advice and submissions in relation to Foreign Investment Review Board requirements and preparing land acquisition strategy papers.
  • Acting in relation to the acquisition of the Tingalpa and Eumundi Hotels and the sale of the GPO Hotel, Fortitude Valley and Courthouse Hotel, Cairns.
