Michelle Eastwell With expertise in the financial services, technology, education, and resources and energy sectors, Michelle has advised on high-profile transactions for a number of major players in these industries.

Michelle is a corporate lawyer with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions and alternative fund raisings. In addition, Michelle works closely with her clients to assist with corporate governance issues and regulatory compliance as well as negotiating significant commercial agreements and providing commercial advice on business critical matters.

With clients across a range of sectors, Michelle works with companies listed on the ASX and other stock exchanges as well with unlisted companies, including emerging businesses.  Michelle has a specific interest in the technology, financial services and education sectors.  Michelle prides herself on the relationships she has with clients and is committed to working alongside her clients in the long term and contributing to their growth and success. 

Michelle holds qualifications in Laws (Hons) and Commerce (Law, Accounting & Finance) from Griffith University.

  • Advising Raya Group with respect to the ASX back door listing of Xped Holdings Ltd, an ‘Internet of Things’ business and associated capital raising.
  • Advising Site Group (an education, training and labour service company) on its ASX back door listing and associated capital raising.
  • Advising Allied Brands (as the Australian Baskin-Robbins master franchisor) on its IPO and ASX listing.
  • Advising Renaissance Uranium, Stanmore Coal and Bow Energy on their ASX listings and IPOs.
  • Advising Waratah Coal on its dual listing on the TSX-V and the ASX (prior to its takeover by Mineralogy).
  • Advising Union Resources on its dual listing on the ASX and AIM.
  • Advising Solomon Gold on its primary listing on the AIM.
  • Advising ASX-listed Cudeco on its rights issue to raise up to $85 million.
  • Advising ASX-listed Buccaneer Energy Limited on Australian matters relating to its US credit facilities totaling US$100 million with Chicago-based Victory Park Capital.
  • Advising Bow Energy on its placement and share purchase plan to raise over $76 million.
