HopgoodGanim website recognised as Best in Class

13 December 2012

HopgoodGanim’s new look website, www.hopgoodganim.com.au, has been awarded Best in Class in the Legal category in the prestigious Interactive Media Awards (IMAs) in New York.

The IMAs recognise the highest standards of excellence in website design and development, with nominations accepted from around the world.

Launched in September this year, HopgoodGanim’s website achieved an overall score of 486 out of a possible 500, earning recognition as Best in Class - the highest honour bestowed by the Interactive Media Council.

Judged by an independent panel of leading web-related professionals, websites from around the world are evaluated on five criteria: design; content; feature functionality; usability; and standards compliance and cross-browser compatibility.

HopgoodGanim’s Director of Business Development and Marketing, Kathryn Garth, says the firm is delighted to see the website recognised as world-class.

“In order to win a Best in Class award, our site had to achieve very high marks in each of the criteria, which is an achievement only a small number of sites in the IMA competition earn each year.”

Ms Garth says the firm worked in close collaboration with digital agency Brightlabs to provide clients, contacts, referrers and other website visitors with an appealing, intuitive and user-friendly site.

“From the start of the redevelopment project, our aim was to provide visitors with engaging and relevant information about the services we offer, our experience in key areas and our legal professionals.

“2012 has been a big year for HopgoodGanim, with several exciting developments. With this in mind, we knew it was important that our new website accurately reflected our growing brand and offered our local and international visitors an insight into our culture and what it is that sets us apart from other law firms.

“We had a very clear brief from the outset and our developers were able to take that and turn around a product we are all very proud of.”
