On 12 April 2007 DME held a Geothermal Tenure Workshop focussing on the legislative and practical issues relating to geothermal exploration and production in Queensland. The purpose of the workshop was to obtain input from interested parties, particularly within the geothermal exploration and production industry, in order to expand on the existing legislation governing this area.
