Environmental Protection Act 1994
The Environmental Protection Amendment Act 2007 (EPAA) amends the Environmental Protection Act 1994 (EPA). Sections 1 and 2, which do not contain amending provisions, commenced on 25 October 2007, with remaining provisions proclaimed into force on 11 February 2008.

The EPAA provides amendments to the EPA to "provide safer and easier enforcement of littering offences involving a vehicle" and to address other issues raised by local governments.

Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999

On 8 January 2008, the Minister for Environment, Heritage and the Arts adopted a number of new recovery plans under s269A(7) of the Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act (EPBC Act). The instrument adopted recovery plans for seven different listed threatened species in Queensland.

Transport Infrastructure Act 1994

The Land and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2007 amends the Transport Infrastructure Act 1994 (TIA) and came into force on 1 January 2008. The purpose of these amendments is to "facilitate the issue of a deed of grant for commercial development or provision of community infrastructure in, over, across or under rail or non rail corridor land" by inserting new s477A into the TIA.
