There have been substantial amendments to the Queensland Liquor Act 1992 affecting the operations of licensed premises in Queensland which come into effect on 1 January 2009.  We have summarised some of the changes which we believe have the greatest impact on the operations of licenced premises and in some cases where action should be taken now to retain some of your privileges or protect your businesses from possible breaches of the new Act.
