HopgoodGanim Family Law specialists, Alexandra Moles and Emily Wood do not propose to cover all angles to be considered when acting for the financial or non-financial spouse, however wish to address a number of considerations involved in the special skill aspect of contribution from the perspective of the entrepreneur and the stay at home spouse.  This paper is not a definitive statement of the law in relation to special skills. The purpose of this paper is to touch on the arguments for and against special skill to provoke thought and to translate that theory into practical outcomes.
