Generally speaking, the parties to Commercial and Consumer Tribunal proceedings are those named in the first document filed with the Tribunal, the Application. The parties to the Application cannot be amended or further parties added unless by an Order of the Tribunal in certain circumstances. The Tribunal has recently given some direction as to the circumstances when parties may be added to Tribunal proceedings after they have already been commenced.
