Kate Bint has over 13 years experience in family law matters, including in private practice, the public sector, mediation, and representing children in both the Family Court and in child protection matters. She has worked as an independent children’s lawyer, representing hundreds of children in difficult matters, and is highly regarded in this area.
Kate has also worked as a Registrar of the Family Court and the Federal Magistrates Court, giving her invaluable experience from a judicial perspective. While chairing conciliation conferences for the Federal Magistrates Court, Kate’s experience and mediation skills saw her achieving a high percentage of successful resolutions. She has a deep understanding of the impact of the litigation process on parties and their children.
Kate is an experienced speaker and has delivered training on a number of occasions for the Law Council of Australia’s Family Law section in the areas of property and child representation.
