Alison Ross is a Special Counsel in HopgoodGanim's Family Law practice and has worked exclusively in family law since 1996, when she commenced her career as the Legal Associate to the Honourable Justice Lindenmayer.
Alison specialises in complex property matters and other financial matters arising from relationship breakdowns and has extensive experience in both matrimonial and de facto relationship law. She is also experienced in dealing with international family law matters including international financial matters or issues relating to children.
In a competitive field, Alison is highly conscious of the need to stay on top of her profession to ensure she is passing on her up to date understanding of the law and possible solutions to family law issues. Alison is tenacious in her quest for skill and knowledge advancement and is a regular presenter of seminars and papers on a variety of family law topics.
Alison is a member of the Queensland Law Society's Family Law Section, College of Law (QLD) Course Advisory Committee and a member of Queensland Collaborative Law.
Alison holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Queensland University of Technology, and is an Accredited Family Law Specialist and trained Collaborative Law practitioner.
