Tammy is a Senior Associate of HopgoodGanim's Commercial Property team and has been with the firm since January 2005. From residential property transactions through to complex development acquisitions, Tammy has extensive experience in commercial property matters and is a rising star of our Commercial Property team.
A sharp and engaged practitioner, Tammy also has a naturally warm personality that allows her to instantly build rapport with clients and quickly determine the most effective way to achieve their objectives.
Tammy has advised clients on the acquisition and disposal of a number of significant commercial and industrial properties in Queensland, including resources projects in Gladstone, the 107-lot Whisper Bay Resort in Airlie Beach, the Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas, the Queen Street collection (three commercial office towers) in Brisbane's CBD, and a large number of retail shopping centres in the greater Brisbane and Gold Coast area.
Tammy has a particular interest in sustainable development, renewable energy development and 'green' buildings. She advises landowners, developers and tenants on tenure issues, green rating tools and the impact that existing and proposed State and Federal Government initiatives will have on transactions, including leases, easements and contracts for the sale and purchase of land.
Tammy is an EnviroDevelopment Professional and was the only legal practitioner on the UDIA's EnviroDevelopment Technical Standards Taskforce for the drafting of the National Technical Standards. Accordingly, Tammy has a comprehensive knowledge of the EnviroDevelopment program.
