Michelle joined HopgoodGanim's Construction, Infrastructure and Major Projects practice in 2005. Michelle is an experienced lawyer in the areas of Commercial Property and Litigation and Dispute Resolution, but has specific expertise in the construction sector.
Michelle’s practice includes advising principals, contractors and subcontractors in relation to construction law litigation, with significant experience in contract preparation and negotiation.
Michelle’s commitment to every client is to develop a deep knowledge and understanding of their business and to put in place a strategy for the client that will achieve their business needs.
Michelle understands that in litigious situations, active listening is the key to understanding what a particular client wants the outcome to be. To achieve this, Michelle relies on strong and thorough planning, which ensures she always delivers during a negotiation or dispute.
Michelle is a committee member of Urban Edge - Urban Development Institute of Australia and a member of the National Association of Women in Construction.
