Sarah's expertise is in the areas of environmental approvals, planning appeals and declaratory proceedings. Her experience includes advising developers and government entities across the spectrum of planning and environment related legislation, providing project scoping advice and due diligence, and advising on infrastructure charging provisions, land compensation issues and cultural heritage matters.
Sarah is well-versed in State and Federal environmental legislation and policy, providing environmental advice across due diligence, project planning and compliance to the firm's resource, development and government clients.
In addition to her extensive expertise in development planning and representing stakeholders in the Planning and Environment Court, Sarah regularly provides strategic advice across the spectrum of environmental legislation impacting on projects, with particular focus on the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act, Environmental Protection Act, Vegetation Management Act, Nature Conservation Act and Water Act.
Sarah is the Chair of the Urban Development Institute of Australia's Queensland Planning and Planning Governance Committee and is a member of UDIA's Natural Resources, Environment and Heritage Committee. She is also a regular presenter of seminars and presentations on key topics for clients and associated service providers.
