Luke is a committed, vibrant and highly valued Partner of HopgoodGanim’s Business Services and Structuring team. He began working at the firm as an Articled Clerk in 2002 and was promoted to Partner in July 2009.
Luke has significant experience in his chosen areas of law and represents a diverse client base including large public corporations, smaller emerging businesses, rural clients and high wealth individuals. Luke engages with all clients by first ensuring he has an intimate understanding of their business and what they want to achieve. For Luke, integrity in all of his dealings with clients is key and the personal approach he takes to every interaction delivers far beyond a service for a fee.
Whether his expertise is required at the inception of a business, throughout operational phases, or at the final stages of a business life cycle, Luke is a tenacious performer and acts decisively to find the right solutions to achieve success. Whether that is devising an innovative shareholders’ agreement, negotiating a complex franchise arrangement, establishing terms of trade, restructuring a business or achieving a successful asset disposal, Luke will deliver results every time he acts.
The nature of Luke’s practice dictates he advises clients from a variety of sectors and backgrounds. It takes a sharp mind to be able to gain a deep understanding of a range of industry sectors, but Luke grasps this challenge like every other - with both hands. He advises his dynamic client base on every aspect of business - from inception through to implementation of a successful exit strategy, if that is their intention.
Luke has a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology and was awarded the QUT University Medal for academic excellence.
