James has specialised in commercial leasing for over 25 years, advising clients including the Raptis Group, WA Stockwell and Leda Holdings. James was responsible for drafting and negotiating leases for Leda's Logan Hyperdome, the largest regional shopping centre at that time, and has advised on many significant developments since then, including the Ipswich Riverlink. He has specialist expertise in industrial, shopping centre, and sport and recreation leasing.
James also acts on behalf of tenants and franchise chains, and advises on specialty leasing requirements in various jurisdictions and locations throughout Australia, and in some cases internationally.
James was named as a recommended Queensland lawyer in the 2010 Doyle's Guide to Australia's Leading Property Lawyers.
