David leads our team of experienced lawyers specialising in planning, development and environment advice and litigation.
David has been recognised as a top planning and environment lawyer by a number of local and international legal directories, including Doyle's Guide to Australia's Leading Planning and Environment Lawyers, Practical Law Company's Environment Handbook 2010/2011 and The Best Lawyers in Australia 2011.
David’s involvement with stakeholder organisations and industry bodies enriches the advice he offers clients and has been vital to his success. He has written many research papers and drafted numerous submissions to government in relation to legislative reforms.
David's qualifications include degrees in Arts and Laws, and a Master of Laws majoring in Environmental and Resources Law.
David is a past President of the Queensland Environmental Law Association and has served on the Local Government and Planning Committee of the UDIA (Qld) since 2001. He is also a Notary Public.
