Jessica advises on the full range of issues associated with corporate advisory, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions, including corporate structuring and restructuring, private equity, IPOs and listings, governance issues, and directors' duties and liabilities.
Jessica has worked internationally for a variety of law firms in Australia, the Cayman Islands and the UK. Her extensive experience, which includes a secondment as in-house counsel for Santos in Queensland, gives her a detailed understanding of both the commercial and legal issues facing clients in the oil and gas sector.
Jessica holds qualifications in Laws (Hons) and Commerce (Politics and Public Policy) from Griffith University.

- Advising Youku.com, the biggest online video company in China, on its IPO and listing on the NYSE.
- Advising Santos on a range of legal issues, including petroleum and gas production operational issues, landholder compensation, joint ventures, property, on-shore and off-shore concerns, legislative compliance, and stakeholder negotiations.
- Advising a corporate organisation on a $35.7 million rights issue.
- Advising on joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions, including advising on issuing shares, options, units and loan notes, share buy-backs, and reductions of capital.
- Advising on corporate restructuring and the registration of foreign entities.
- Advising on the operation of mutual funds, private equity vehicles and hedge funds, including advising on the formation, establishment, structuring, listing, winding down, liquidation, deregistration and termination of these funds.
- Advising on corporate governance matters, including drafting and negotiating documentation, sale and purchase agreements, and investment manager, prime brokerage, administration and custody agreements.
