HopgoodGanim has welcomed a new legal practitioner to its leading resources and energy team.
Joshua Doig will advise on all aspects of energy and resources law and will specialise in corporate advisory and M&A advice for resources companies.
Joshua hails from the Canadian city of Calgary, where he advised companies in the oil and gas, mining and power industries on a wide range of commercial legal issues.
His experience includes negotiating and drafting joint venture and partnership agreements, construction and general commercial contracts, and acquisition agreements.
According to partner Martin Klapper, Joshua's experience will be particularly beneficial for those clients of the firm who are undertaking projects in Canada or with Canadian companies.
