HopgoodGanim has been ranked in Thomson Reuters' Mid-Market Legal Rankings for M&A activity valued up to US$50 million for the fourth quarter of 2009.
This ranking recognises the firm's success in advising Norton Gold Fields on the placement of shares worth A$40.5 million to investors in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Hong Kong.
The placement, at 32.83 cents per share, was conducted in two tranches to international resource funds, including Goldmax Asia Investments in Hong Kong.
HopgoodGanim was also recognised as a leading firm for mergers and acquisitions by ALB magazine during 2009.
