The partners and staff of HopgoodGanim actively foster community partnerships and are proud to provide financial, legal and volunteer support to a number of local and national charitable organisations.
In 2009 HopgoodGanim launched a staff volunteering program. Every permanent staff member is entitled to take one day of paid leave per year to volunteer for an approved charitable organisation. This initiative gives our staff the opportunity to support and personally contribute to the great work these organisations do in the community.
Foodbank Queensland
Since 2005, HopgoodGanim has been a proud Corporate Partner of Foodbank Queensland.
Foodbank is a non-denominational, charitable organisation which sources donated and surplus food from the food and grocery industry to distribute to welfare and community agencies that provide food assistance to people in need. The organisation helps around 300 welfare agencies to feed 60,000 needy Queenslanders each week. Click here to find out more about Foodbank and Beefbank.
The Salvation Army
HopgoodGanim provides support to The Salvation Army through its staff volunteering program and support of the Red Shield Appeal.
The Salvation Army offers a variety of community support services, ranging from emergency relief and crisis accommodation to assistance and support for youth, those with addictions, the homeless, disabled persons and the aged.
Local charities
In addition to our major corporate partnerships, HopgoodGanim remains connected with the local community through ongoing support of various charitable organisations.
Since 2004 the firm has produced an electronic Christmas card, donating the money saved from printing hard copy cards to Brisbane-based charities Rock Community Care and Eddie's Van.
A number of our solicitors volunteer their time to the Women’s Legal Service, a community legal centre that provides free legal advice and information to women in Queensland.
