If you haven't yet graduated, the best way to get a head start on your university colleagues is to work as a vacation clerk before you graduate. At HopgoodGanim, our vacation clerks are provided with the opportunity to work closely with our partners and solicitors on real issues and with real clients. For the right candidates, HopgoodGanim will offer vacation clerkships during the winter and summer university breaks.
Vacation clerks may be invited back during the term to be a research assistant for the firm. As a research assistant, students have the opportunity to undertake research and prepare briefing papers on changes in legislation relevant to clients, as well as work on large project transactions in which the firm is involved.
Applications for vacation clerkship positions open on Monday 27 February 2012 and close on Monday 26 March 2012.
