Accounts Clerk

We are currently looking for an Accounts Clerk to join our dynamic Accounts team. Reporting to the Accounts Manager, your role will be responsible for:


· Managing creditors
· Receiving client payments
· Processing investments (depositing, crediting interest payments and  withdrawals)
· Processing auto-bills
· Managing petty cash
· Reconciling bank statements
· Supervising and training the Junior Accounts Clerk
· Managing trust and general account cheques
· Monitoring trust balances
· Undertaking Accounts induction training
· Managing telephone accounts
· Using Citec/ESS (obtaining searches when necessary, setting up new users, downloading usage from Citec each day, and following up any rejected entries)

To be successful in this role, you will have held a similar position for three to four years in a professional services environment. You will be well presented, have strong interpersonal skills and have a thorough understanding of the Accounts process. Experience using Microsoft Office is essential. The ideal candidate will be well organised, have excellent attention to detail and have a high level of initiative.
